While many people wear cotton to the gym, spandex and nylon are actually better choices for your next class. They are both very breathable, and they absorb some of your sweat, so you won't leave class feeling drenched. Essentially, any material that wicks away sweat is going to do wonders for you during class, and you won't smell like a dirty gym bag after class either.
Leggings Are a Good Go-To
One of the best things you can wear for a fitness class is leggings. Leggings stick to your body, and they prevent getting stuck on equipment or not getting your full range of motion. Even men can benefit from having tighter pants or shorts.
